Drilled a Dream
« on: November 15, 2014, 10:03:09 AM »
I drilled a Dream on Wednesday. Drilled it 70 x 4.75 x 70. Threw it in league Wednesday and Thursday. Shot 726 Wednesday missed 2 3,6,10 spares. Struggled a little through transition but could've easily been a higher 700. Then threw it Thursday started 278,279 the lost my look and only had a 191 for a 746. Really liking it a lot right now. It's strong in the back but is very controllable at the same time. Only issue I'm seeing right now is i really have to get around it or it gets into a roll a little too early for me. But thats fairly typical for me with anything asymmetrical...so far definitely looks like a winner.

Storm pours all of the 3 color balls for 900 Global. As far as I've heard, its still a Global formulated cover. I don't know for sure, but the shape of the motion from both Dreams is something I can get on board with.

My understanding is there are technologies going both ways. What you're saying may be true, my statements are based on what I've heard i can't say it's true. It's a similar reaction to the marvel pearl to me but it has that asymmetrical type reaction too. I think it's pretty close to an r2x even if it's not exactly r2x.....The 2 companies sharing technologies isn't completely a new thing either. The original Break had a pour that was made in the Utah plant and from what I've been told was a storm cover as well.

You should go ahead and purchase that Dream. ;D

The Dream is the first ball out of my bag, I just love the motion and strength of this ball. By far the best ball Global has made IMO.
