Not just the 14 pounder. The spread between the 16 and the 15 cores is huge too.  Each of those 3 balls could be released with a different name they are so different from each other. Not a good way to bring a ball to market, IMO

Yes. Bowlers spend a lot of time looking at numbers they do not understand versus manufactures intended purpose for said bowling ball. Unfortunately I was trying to find the specs for previous releases using this core, but only found the specs in 15lbs.

I know. My friend has an DynoThane Threshold and an AMF CLutch with the same core and both are still going strong.

Just a friendly reminder, the Clutch weightblock and the Pearl weightblock are different numbers. This is closer to the solids numbers.
