need help with ball selection
« on: June 23, 2009, 04:33:01 PM »
last year i had trouble bowling in the oil, especially in the first game. thinking about getting a bounty hunter. i have high speed and revs and need something to work when lanes are flooded. i have had good luck with storm in the past, but the new 900g stuff looks good.want to replace sauce/spec agent as my heavy oil ball. need advice: bhunter or venergy?

arsenal:
special agent
sauce

right now, i would recommend eather the break point, the break s75 or the bounty, i have a break s75 and im also a cranker/power player, and i love it on heavy oil, i havent seen to many power players thrown the bounty so i cant say how it rolls but it works very well for strokers/tweaners and the break point is longer and more angular than the s75 or the bounty

i would also look into the AMF Mega Friction, its currently the most aggressive ball out on the market today and watching it play heavy oil is a sight to see

try this,...shorten your first step to half of what it is now, lower the ball to just below your waist at address, and slow your approach down.  Changing your ball speed a little will greatly increase the amount of friction you need to bowl on oil,...
