in all seriousness, prolly a revivor or ball baking oven for sure.

but funny story i had a 14 year old customer coming into the shop and asked what to clean it with. she had only bowled about 2 months and kept hearing ppl her bowling ball was covered in oil. well she's a teen and thought i should use the same i used on my face....

she showed me the clearasil pads, and they were black from dirt. and they do have alchool in them.

warm water and dawn dishwashing soap. Not hot water for about 20 min. than air dry

There is a great new product out called Motiv Scuff Gell...

You put this on your ball for about 1-2 hours, wipe off and your done...

Excellent product, and it comes in a 16oz bottle...

jls, I looked up the Motiv Scuff Gel and let me know if I am missing something.  On the Motiv website, a 16 oz. bottle has a MSRP of $9.99.  I then look to other typical internet shops and find it ranging in price from $24.95 to $15.95.  No internet shop seems to have it at the MSRP of $9.99.  

Does anyone know if I am missing something?

Around here I would say it is selling from $10.95 - $14.95....

And worth every penny...

And yes I have been using it since it came out....

And the results have been great...

There is nothing wrong with using that method, if you know what you are doing..
But most don't.....  They leave the ball in hot water way too long....  Once the hot water cools, and the ball is left in the cool water, it stops drawing oil.  And then all you are doing is soaking your ball in a pail of dirty water...  Not good....

But using a top grade cleaner, the bowler reduces the risk of doing this...

Also you can use the Scuff gel for normal cleaning every 3 games...

I deal with this issue daily... NO ONE< and I mean NO ONE puts a ball in hot water and then stands there and watches it... They leave to do something else, and by the time they come back, the water is cold........

BTW,  as for the dish washing soap....  You need to be careful there...

Some companies such as Ebonite say,  NO soap, just hot water.... Some companies say soap...

We do this daily....  It's easy, It's safe and most of all it works...

BTW
Scott... Do you have any 60 degree low bounce wedges that look like a Cleveland CG 10...

And do you have any Hot Melt Driver Heads.....Like the big boys on tour use...
