tell me about...
« on: September 27, 2009, 01:41:21 AM »
your Break Point Pearls? I have been thinking about picking one up and would like to know what you guys think of this ball.

How strong is this peice say compared to a Nsane? Would a control pattern like pin under ring be a good drilling for a bowler like me? (Specs in profile)

Thanks in advance.

Awesome piece...Currently best ball in my bag which is full of all 900 and AMF stuff.  I like it at 1000-2000 with no shine.  I have never thrown any Morich equipment so I cant make a comparison, but I have been able to throw mine on scorpion.  Also I think a control drilling would be good, as long as you knock the shine of with a 1000 or 2000 pad.

I love mine, its a veeeery smooth rolling pearl. If you ask me, comparing any 900 Global to any MoRich is like apples to oranges. The Break Point Pearl could easily be anyone''s go to ball for medium-light oil patterns. Very smooth, easy to read and good carry. Looks sweet too!

I think the breakpoint pearl is awesome.  I have used it on the chameleon and cheetah patterns.  Viper is next.  The only pattern I doubt whether it will work for me is on the SHARK.

I am a high rev high speed right handed player.  Drilled 5 X 3, pin on top.

I am not sure what my pap is these days, my pro shop driller calculates it for me when he drills a ball.

On the cheetah, stand slightly left of center, wind it over the second arrow, out to the gutter and watch it come back.

On the Chamaleon, I stand slightly right of the center of the alley, and rev it up between the first and second arrow with lots of speed.

On a house shot, I stand 10 boards left of center and wind it out from the third arrow.  I do not rev it up as much with my hand.

Now Now Z anyone that bowls 278 in flip flops with a reactive hype on house lanes has bowling that easy!

Mine is pure skid snap, as soon as it hits dry goes left. I purposely put the pin lower and Mb closer than normal to try and make it a little more rolly than my Break pearl, not a chance. I actually have to fight it on my house shot, if I can line up right its a monster. If I miss out into the dry too soon, it gets very ugly. I think the S75 is more forgiving, it takes the missed shots better both in and out.
