Yesterday I decide to stop by the local proshop to hang out and get a few balls worked on. When I got there Eric Thomas from 900 Global was there showing some of the new equipment that Global has to offer. Before he left he gave the shop a new Break Out to try, but since my driller is on Storm staff he decided to let me try it. On the average I drill 30-40 balls a year and I bowl A LOT of tournaments. Believe it or not this is the 1st Global ball that I've ever thrown, and boy was I impressed. One of the houses that I bowl pretty frequently at has given me a lot of problems this year due to the quick transition and huge amount of carrydown. I've tried everything.. I've tried going around the carrydown, I've tried plowing through it, I've tried surface, I've tried shine, I've tried pin up, and I've tried pin down but nothing has really worked. When I layed this ball out I put the pin under and in between the fingers and kicked the mass bias out at 45 degrees and hit it with a light polish. Last night this ball did everything I wanted it to... I was able to move in and keep it pretty tight and the ball plowed through it with ease, now when I did miss right the ball laid off and different over react. In a house that I'm normally happy shooting 690 at, I shot 780 and only made a few small hand adjustments all night. I think 900 Global is a GREAT company and I look forward to drilling many more in the future. I just wanna thank Eric Thomas and 900 Global for giving me the opportunity to try this bad boy and make me a believer!
