it  has the same specs as the black eagle only its pearl :)  I wasn't a huge fan of the black eagle either  :-X  I know there are alot of you that loved it and that's a good thing.  IM looking forward to this ball as well as all the others I already have in the bag. I guess this is there way to make sure we all keep rotating our equipment in our bags to make room for all these new releases LOL

 IN bag for this winter-

 Break Pearl S-70
 Rip/IT  S-55
 Bullet Train S-79  ( spare ball )
 Hard Drive  S-74
 Protocol  S-70
 Grip/IT  S-64
 Versus  S-70

Had the Pure HOOK S-77 pearl till it cracked on me this week  :'(
If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)

something stronger coverwise would of been nice but maybe this will be a good coast to coast ball.
Not much of a fan of the BE either but I like the motion of the ball when it works.

it's hard when everyone else seems to love a ball and you don't have that same feeling, make's it seem like something's wrong.
The harder I try the harder they fall

The BE is one of my two favorite ball of all time.  The other was the Storm X-Factor.  I bowled many 250+ games with the BE. My only problem with the BE was the thin shell that cracked easily.  I hope the BE Pearl will have a thicker shell.  I will definitely try out the BE Pearl when it released.

Hey guys....  Im new to San Antonio balls until recently i plugged and redrilled a long shot and a clutch pearl
And am beginning to like em more and more... Question though.... Should one be concerned throwing uch a strong dense weight block with both nearly diffs being nearly maxed out, coupled ith a low RG???  It sorta reminds me of when Motiv first came out with their Cruel which had a diff of .060" and int diff of .030" also being a lower RG as well, and remembering seeing first handedly, as im a ball driller just how poorly that ball would roll on ones THS.  granted thats not what it was meant for, but nevertheless, it was a very VERY VEEEEERRRY hard ball to drill to coinside and properly meet each individuals wants, in unison of each individuals tilt, rotation, yadda yadda. Is this something that us ball drillers need to have a slight concern prior to laying out this or the original BE?  Or does the cover really help that monster core from reving up too soon and reaching its PSA halfway down the lane?

Thanks for any knowledge guys.  Im very interested, and am all ears now.

The B/E solid and pearl have the popular Break core with S-70 cover. This core and cover  combo is tried and true. Don't be afraid of the numbers, put your favorite layout on it. I haven't seen or heard of anyone having issues with this core and cover with any layout. There is a reason why 900 Global keeps releasing balls with this core and cover.

Agreed. Break core is very strong, but very tunable without it being touchy. I've had 4 balls with that weight block (OG Break, S75, Black Eagle and War Eagle, with a Break Point in the closet NIB), and while it's not a medium condition kind of ball (For me, more medium heavy), it doesn't check early unless you chuck it into the dirt fast. For me, the covers are unique. Clean like Storm, but doesn't go nuts sideways.

I agree. Put your fave layout on it, and see what happens. If you're scared of the diff, get a War Eagle instead. That's an AWESOME piece.

It all started back on9/04/07 with S-70 THE BREAK solid, It was a huge success back then and is a great ball to still throw today. they followed it up with The Break Pearl on 01/03/08 and it was there best selling ball for some time :)  Then the Break OUT hit it big at Nationals in 09  followed by all the Eagle line from 2011 to 2013.  Now you see why they keep going back to this combo  (S-70 cover  break core 2.489 RG 0.058 Diff 0.024 MB)   ;) It has to be there best cover combo that they have come out with in my opinion ( I'm sure many more agree with me ) . I have a strong feeling this ball is going to be much like the Break Pearl ( do to them pretty much having the same cover and core )  but just a touch stronger because of the particles in the ball because its a solid Black ball :-X.  One thing is for sure, This ball will be another big seller for  900GLOBAL :)  IM looking forward to throwing this ball and all the newer ones to come in the near future ::).. thanks 900 for continuing to raise the bar on your designs and equipment for all these years and years to come. 8)  WooHOOO
If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)

Am I reading all the above posts incorrectly or
is the Eagle Pearl == Break Pearl?
I mean identical, except for the stock surface: Eagle pearl is polished, while the Break Pearl is 4000 grit dull.
Exact same coverstock and exact same core.
Or am I misreading something?

Seems like the ball should be called the Break Pearl reissued.
