Whats next for 900Global?
« on: April 11, 2010, 03:21:11 PM »
What does everyone expect from 900Global for their next ball?  A Break Out Pearl, a heavy oil ball to replace the BH's as the bounty ends in about 3 weeks, or one of the listed before and a Lunatic replacement as well?

Don't you expect a new ball in the Bounty Line with a new bounty amount posted? The money has sure helped them sell a lot of bowling balls, and the Bounty series roll quite well too. After that they will probably do what every other company is doing-making small changes in current balls, changing the names and sending them out to the customer. Same with the AMF side. I wish they had been able to keep the Dynothane rights because there were plenty of those that I really liked.

Don't think the high end stuff needs to much more hopefully they keep on the same path.  I would like to see some low range balls to fit a little better but that could just be me?  Thoughts?

I'm going to make a guess, and I haven't talked to anyone at 900.
I would guess that the PBA Staffers would like a stronger ball than
the Break Out. The WRW-Jaros-Smiths of the PBA like their options open, and right now there's only one (or two) strong solids in that mix. I heard the
Xframe guys say that WRW loved the Break Out, but they said he was most fond of one right off the press. That said, I would bet he would like to see the strong ball line-up a little more creative. Just my guess...je

I agree with notsohotshot, because of the bounty amount, I bought two Bounty Hunters and was able to convince 5 others to get one

I can't help but think the Break Out Pearl has to be coming soon. Natural progression to bring that one back as well. The Break Pearl was a great ball so they could just re-label or make a slight tweak if they felt it was needed. The next monster I would think would drop mid-summer just in time for league season to get going again.

I would love to see a break out pearl. I have a break pearl that is a great ball, but having some high tracking issues it has hit the bench becuase of rolling over the holes because it is pin down.

I want one to put a high pin drill and let her eat.

There's FIRST, then everyone else.

Walter loves to bowl with the same ball ( but different drillings. coverstock adjustments)
he always have like 4 or 5 "same balls " drilled and prepared different , so i dont think he needs something else than a Break Out

Hopefully a couple of symmetrical pieces. A Lunatic Pearl and a stronger version (Raging or Raving Lunatic) maybe S75 cover and Lunatic core.

They really could do 3 new balls.  A heavy to replace the BHs, a medium-heavy BO Pearl and a Light-Medium for the Lunatic. Dont think the Link line needs any help at this time.
