900Global developed the After Dark ball line to offer entry level bowling balls as well as balls that can be used by tournament players when facing dry lanes. The S30 Hybrid Reactive coverstock offers great length as well as a very low hook potential. The Nightfall Symmetric core has a high RG and a low differential to assist the beginner bowler with hook control and helps the seasoned bowler maintain their reaction shapes on lanes that are drier.

Core: Nightfall Symmetric

Drilling pattern: 90 x 3.5 x 40
Pin position: Slightly above/right of ring finger

As I've stated in other reviews, the THS in my area are very, very light oil volume so balls with big cores or aggressive surfaces typically aren't in play for higher rev bowlers. The After Dark Hybrid is a great ball to start on these drier THS patterns as I am still able to play a little left of the track area (and still chase it, if needed) and since the cover/core combo is not aggressive, there is no over-reaction on the dry while still providing decent skid through the mid-lane. Once carry down develops though, I typically need to ball up to something with a little more teeth downlane like the Ordnance Pearl or Money Badger. However, with fresh backends on drier/shorter patterns, this ball performs very well.
