I posted a review on the Break Pearl drilled up three different ways. Now im posting my review of The Break Solid. I drilled this one up AXIS Leverage and left the box surface on it.  Surprisingly this ball was smooth through the fronts and made a consistent move to the pocket.  Based on the fact that I had a Pearl Break also drilled up AXIS Leverage, I decided to break down the original surface of the Break Solid with clean and dull applied with a Green Scotchbrite pad. Boy did this do the trick, now the Break solid cuts through oil and smashes the pocket, I decided to polish my Break Pearl with Ebonite Extender, Now depending on the shot I start with the Break solid, and then transition to the Break Pearl polished with Extender. Excellent complement for these balls. Eric from 900 Global once again thanks for getting these balls to me.  I have one more break that I haven't drilled yet, but will post the review once I decide what condition to drill it for.

A year in review.
It's been a year since i've owned my Break solid. 3" pin with the CG and
the 900 global bomb on a 35' angle for a lefty. The Pin @ 8'o clock CG is kicked out
3" off center span W/the 900bomb 31/4 off the thumb.
There's enough in the ball to carry the corners even in heavy oil.
And when the lanes are ideal! It's rap!!!  The ball paid for itself and
half the league in 2months.  And for those who can't buy a ball every
week the life of the coverstock is a bonus.  After a year of league and tourneys
I can still step in the oil and lighten up on the speed and watch it
blast the pocket.  It's worth the 190.00.

I've had this ball for two years now with over 700 games on it, and it still makes a good motion. 2 redrillings(since my game has changed) and 2 resurfaces and this ball has seen better days, but is still an option when nothing else works. I had this ball drilled pin under.

This is the best ball I have ever owned. Picks up a roll in the midlane very well and makes a strong backend motion. I know this sounds like a lot of the bowling balls out there, so the following things might set this ball apart:

1. I can use this ball on all conditions except the driest and the oiliest.
2. This is the perfect benchmark ball, and the deciding factor of whether to go stronger or weaker.
3. Never burned up the front part of the lane. I almost always never had to move more than three boards in league.
4. So much area at the breakpoint, it made certain sport shots look like house patterns. I had about 9 boards on the Viper one time, and about 7 on the Cheetah, and quite a few once the other patterns broke down a little bit.
5. I don't throw many revs, and this is the first ball I have had a messenger with.
6. I was able to ride the gutter and carry, and play fifth arrow and carry.

When I got this ball, it was 200 bucks, and now its only 100 bucks on bowlersdream, not including shipping. There is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't try this ball.
