Great job Pat- yes I think the VP2 works well on shorter and lighter oil patterns. I have only had the chance to use this ball on a couple of conditions I've been facing lately, but this ball provided the smooth look and great carry that I desire on medium and medium-light patterns. I especially like the look I can get on shorter patterns with synthetic lanes.
