« on: March 08, 2006, 10:45:18 AM »
I'm about to get one, was wondering how to drill it up..  I want to create area w/this ball, be able to swing it, maybe pin about 1 1/2 inches right next to ring finger, mb 2 inches right?  Any suggestions?

Get a 3-4 inch pin and drill the ball 4x4 with the MB in the strong position. X-hole if needed........Amazing layout on all my bell core balls

thanks for the input, can you elaborate on 4x4?  So pin is above, below, or lined up w/fingers? can you describe the reaction?

If you want the ball to roll later and have a quicker response to the dry put the pin above the fingers. If you want the opposite which is to roll earlier and react smoother to the dry put the pin below the fingers.  Remember weight holes in the ball will also aid in the amount of flare you would like to produce, but that is a whole other topic.  I hope this helps.
