3G width ?
« on: September 16, 2009, 12:37:28 PM »
As far as I know, these shoes are not available in wide widths.I know the kangaroo leather is very supple but does it stretch that much. Anyone own the sport or tour ultras and have wide feet? Would going up a size help?

I wear a size 13EE. I currently have a pair of SST5's(wide) that I really like but they probably only have about a season left in them after 4 years of heavy use.

I wear a size 11 1/2 EEEE. I fit in a friend's 11 1/2 medium with no problems. No, really. I cannot imagine width being a problem if you're only a "EE".

I wear the same size and I am having some trouble with this brand for some reason. What other brand of shoes have you worn that work well for you?

You should describe "some trouble".

Although I don't have a pair of 3G's, I have gone through lots of pairs of soccer cleats. K-Leather is very durable even though it's relatively thin. It conforms to the contours of your feet for a snug, but not tight, fit.

i have had four(4) pairs of bowling shoes from dynorooz and 3G. i had two pairs of the sport elite cabretta's( which were made from sheepskin ) and two pairs of the tour ultra's( made from kangaroo leather ). all four pairs had an identical fit. all four pairs "loosened up" after several weeks.
