Dexter "The Nine" Shoes

Looks like they wasted no time taking advantage of Etonic leaving the shoe industry with the three section sole style like the Tour Masters were.

Shoes do look good though, if my Tanks weren't so new and holding up so well i'd probably consider a pair.

Been that way since the 8s came out like 5 or 6 years ago . .

SST8 and the Nine are interchangeable...thus there are NO right handed vs left handed...they are a specific size not hand

They look like ugly etonics..ughhh

I guess I'll be getting those white/grey tanks..

I had a pair of the high end Etonic's that I bought just to try out right before the company exited the bowling shoe business.  :o

The new Dexters do not look like those shoes. The Etonics were more pointed at the toes, a feature I could never get used to.

I do like the advertised improvements. I've been an SST8 guy for years, and the 9's appear to be a further step up.

I would seriously consider those looking at shoes to take a look at the Brunswick TPUX.  Fantastic feeling shoes that borrow technology from Callaway golf shoes. The support and comfort are amazing.

These 9s look nice, but I don't see where they have improved the fit and feel of the shoe.

Here in the Dallas/FW Mtro area, I have probably talked to nearly 100 bowlers who have tried the new TPUX shoes from Brunswick.  Every single one says the same thing.  Most comfortable shoes ever.  Will never go back to what they used before.

I was waiting on the 9's to see what they were going to offer.  Now that I have seen it, I am still going to try the Brunswick.

I'm not sold on either the 9s or the tpux...the only person I know with em has em trashed with less than 1 season on em...they are falling apart bad.  I'll get a pic on Tuesday.. I was shocked cuz the last time I saw em they were in great but new condition.

Just A Rico,

You are right as always!  Right>?

I forgot...I have disliked the interchangeables from Dexter all along.  Never did see if they had wide and medium also..

All exalted one....please tell us.  I missed it in the description.

Do like they are listing the SST6s as medium and wide for Lefties.  I have not seen that offered at online proshops!

Regards,

Luckylefty

They may look better in person. I've seen the Brunswick ones in person and just didn't like the colors (Black/Blue) but I do like the new white variation that they are coming out.

I do like the Nine because it has a throw back vibe that I like. But so do the 3G Tour Ultra's. I'm conflicted. I just want new shoes LOL!!!

Luck E Left E

I'm never surprised by a persons ignorance...you rant abt all the knowledgeable individuals you either surround yourself with or have access to yet yet put a product down without doing any research....then you comment that you haven't seen it on any of the Etailers...make up my mind...
If you wanna know abt a product that is readily available do your research before dismissing or discounting it...oh intelligent one
