dexter SST Vs vs the other kinds of shoes
« on: January 25, 2005, 04:51:00 AM »
Right now I have a pair of SST Vs that I really like. However, I believe they are a tad narrow through the arch, because if I'm in them for more than an hour or so, the arch starts to really ache.
I was thinking of getting another kind of shoe, and giving that a try. Does any one know how the Dynothane shoes, and the SST VIs compare size and width wise?

I would be buying these on line, so it would be helpful to know if size runs true, as well as how they compare in width.

Thanks in advance!

6's are a good deal wider than the 5's and mine run little bigger than street shoes.  I wear a 13 in most street shoes and my SST 6's are 12.  Dynothanes are wider than 5's but not as wide 6's they are super comfy but I didn't like heels and soles as good and I just plain like dexter better.  I wore a 12 in Dynothane also.  Hope this helps mumzie.

I just got a pair of the ABS Tour Ultras and I love them!!  They're like pillows on my feet and the leather is very flexible.  I have trouble with my arches in general, but have felt no pain with them.  I like the replaceable toe cap on the trailing foot on the Ultras -- I was wearing the toes off my SST5s!!

I was using SST5 but went to SST6 LX and they are what you call shoes.
They are about as wide as it gets. They even have a flared sole to make them wider.
I struggle to fall off a shot now, but when Im on a big score I can just about mannage it.

I just got my SST 5's in the wide version. I have big flat feet and these shoes feel great. Haven't had a chance to bowl in them yet, but they should do fine.

I got ripped on the price, should have bought them online.
