Fitting bowling shoes?
« on: September 19, 2009, 08:47:57 AM »
I find it very hard to find performance shoes such as "lefty" bowling shoes that fit well and perform well. How do I find a pair of any brand that can fill these needs? I have found that the fit of a bowling shoe is very important to my game. I have found a site that offers fit standards of a bowling shoe but what about the performance?

sst8.. right or left hand all in one.. great performance... wider widths and foot print..

3g tour ultra.. great .. narrower.. more snug fit.. all the soles and heels you could want

etonic stabilites... great pushoff sole.. great stability.. so so soles and brake heels.

go to a pro shop and try on a pair of 3G tour ultras and get a basic feel for the shoes. then buy them online( for a substantial savings ) and wear them around the house with the shoe covers on them. if after this you don't like the feel send them back and get a refund. i'm picky about the fit and feel of my shoes and the tour ultras are great.

I love the Tour Ultras and will never carry them in my shop.  The cost to carry them is way to high.  You can buy them online or on closeout for really a lot cheaper.  Great shoes!  For some reason when they go on clearance they just about give them away.  I buy a few pairs and pass the savings on but at full retail forget it.
