Followup 3G Tour Ultras
« on: May 03, 2012, 08:17:52 PM »
Just a followup to my previous post regarding the tours and how they fit.  I just received them yesterday (black tour ultras), and tried them out today.  All I can say is that you guys were right, holy crap are they comfy. No break in, just have to find best sole and heel combo and you're on your way.

I would definitely recommend this shoe...now, just have to see how long they hold up.

No doubt...for me, the two best bowling investments I have made are, switch grips and a premium quality shoe.

When I was out in Baton Rouge, I got to try them on for the first time as well.  I have worn Linds since I was in youth (20 years ago).  I tried on one pair of Dexters around 7-8 years ago and they felt like I was standing on a 2 by 4.  They were stiff and not a whole lot of arch support from what I can remember.  I went to the 900 Global booth where they sell the 3G Shoes and spoke to a great guy I have known through the years working booths out there at USBCs. His name is Cecil.  I got to try on both the Sport Deluxe and the Tour Ultras and needless to say I was impressed by both pairs.  The only reason I did not purchase them was because I was on a tight budget and had already spent most of it from going to New Orleans and doing other stuff around Baton Rouge.  If you can get your hands on some 3G Shoes, I definitely recommend them.
