storm gadget?
« on: August 11, 2007, 09:34:38 AM »
anybody use one of these? I was thinking about getting one. I had a storm strong arm plus I used to use and was wondering about the gadget.

also anybody know if the sizing is the same, I had the strong arm in medium but it only came in medium and large I think. the gadget comes in abunch of sizes so I was wondering if a medium in strong arm was the same size as a medium for the gadget.

thanks

The Gadget is a HUGE improvement over the strong arm.  The padding is thicker (and better) so you may have to go up to the next size.  The rest of the brace is much stronger, too.  Is there a pro shop where you can go try one on?

The Strong Arm gloves were not really built well for Americans.  They only had two sizes and they just broke too easily.

The Gadgets are much better.  Thicker metal.  Super thick padding that can be taken off and washed and stuck back on with Velcro.  Two different styles, 2-3 different colors, 4 different sizes.

The Gadgets are a little pricier, but these gloves are much nicer.

I agree that the Strong Arms were bad.  We must have had at least 25 of them come back broken, either on the straps or the weak metal they used.

That is why I believe the newer Gadget will be much better.

I had a Strong Arm, TERRIBLE!! I do not think I want to spend the money on the Gadget with my experience with the Strong Arm. I will stick with the Robby's Revs. Very dependable, well made.

There is no similarity between the Strong Arm and the Gadget.  Do not assume that they'd be the same.
