« on: October 14, 2003, 12:10:03 AM »
Does everyone want to continue ?
If so, post them here.
Maybe we can get Pchee back in, since I removed the NPA.

Lucky for me I get to take a blind this week, and not get ragged on for my poor scores.

PK......
I am heading to Cali the weekend of Nov. 8th to go to my sisters wedding, and plan on stopping some where in vegas that Friday in hopes of finding someone willing to take time and show me what I am doing wrong, as well as drop the weight of my equipment. In my old age, the 16#ers are just beating me up to much and its taking longer each week to recover. I am dead set on dropping the Columbias also and seeing what I can switch to.

Anyone ever been to Wayne Webbs pro shop??? And if so, what did you think?
Or is there someone else you recomend who can and will give me some help.
I am also looking for someone to figure out what my ball speed is and rev rate, so I know this info for myself.

HEY??!!
Anyone close to Victorville???? Maybe get together and bowl a few games Saturday morning Nov 8th??? I need to be finished by 1PM so I can make it to the wedding.

Its time to trade in the high dollar balls for something cheaper. Heck, I can throw anything else just as well.

Ed,

Stick with it man, it will get better.  Dropping weight may be a good idea.  I dropped to 15# a few years ago and it helped me gain a little more speed, lift and control.  I don't know about the Webb Pro Shop, but Webb has been an outstanding Pro Bowler for many years, so I would guess he or his reps at the Pro Shop will be of help to you.

Enjoy the wedding!!

I agree with Mike.
I dropped to 15 lbs. as soon as I started a weekly league.
I bought a new 16 lb. Columbia WOW this summer to see if going back up would help. It hasn't worked for me so far.

I don't have a coach either, but did join a beginner's league last year where they taught you the basics of bowling. That and the knowledge that I have gained from this website have helped me out alot in understanding how to correct most of my bad habits.
Unlike most people on here, it took me about 3-4 years to go from a 143 average to a 160/170 average. It will take time, so don't get discouraged if it doesn't all come at once.

I was just kidding about dropping the Columbia's, I've heard that the WOW is a good ball, I just don't throw it right.

156 - 187 - 168 = 511

They kicked our buts by 108 the first game.
We came back and took the next two and missed series by 18.
Took 4 out of 7.

Back to the bottom this week.

PK You are just so funny...NOT.  I just wanted to let the little people have a chance at the top  J/K  Just wait until next week, CB is Outasync will be back where she belongs, not at the top

Debs, bowl well and let PK get a taste of the bottom again.

BTW Nice series  but then at least you DID break 500 something that didn't happen often last year.

Nice Series OutaSync.

152-139-162=453.  I even left the lily in the second game.  Got the 5 and 7 but not the 10.  One of those nights. Going back to using the wrist brace, need a few more revs.

Don't expect us to be so nice next week!

Mike, you left the lily?  LMAO!

The last time I left the lily, I got rid of the ball I was using.  Of course it wasn't the ball's fault, because my husband now owns it and doesn't even leave the 5 pin!

Whenever I have a bad night, the song "Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This" comes to mind.

Debbie

On edit, nice bowling, ladies!  I'll try to hold up my end.
