Winter BFDT Signup!

Sign up here to join the winter Bowling Forum Doubles Tournament.  High and low averages are paired together to make evenly matched teams.  Scoring will be both scratch and handicap (80% of 220).  I will need your high book average from this past winter season (summer average is OK if that is all you have).  Last year’s average is used for the first week’s handicap and then discarded.  Your average (and handicap) will change every week based on the scores you turn in.  This is a fun tournament.  We’re playing for fun, so we’re all on the honor system.  Pick one league to use throughout the BFDT.  A second league or tournament score may be used if your primary league is not held (weather, illness, out of town…) for some reason.  Please contact me if you need to substitute for your main league.  Reply here or message me if you have any questions.

Im only in Junior league on Saturday mornings, if thats ok I would love to be in it.

Juniors are fine.  No money is involved.  All you do is sign up, then report your scores on the post I start each week.  I do all the record keeping.  Now that I've got my spreadsheet fine tuned, it really doesn't take too much time.  The week is Sunday to Saturday.  Please have all scores turned in by Tuesday.  If you can't bowl for some reason, a blind (average -10) will be assigned.

Me too!  Last year's average was 216.  League starts the 26th.

I guess I should have asked everyone when their first week was.  We'll start when the majority of people are ready.  We'll go for as long as most people have leagues.  Figure on 30-32 weeks.  I'll take polls around the holidays.  If enough people are off, we'll skip that week.

I would like to get into this one.

My average for the summer league was 142. Although last time I looked, it hasnt been reported to ABC yet. But I do havethe final stats sheet givin to me by the league sec.
My winter league doesnt start till about Sept 15th though. Its a monday night mens industrial league.
