Sign up here to join the winter Bowling Forum Doubles Tournament.  High and low averages are paired together to make evenly matched teams.  Scoring will be both scratch and handicap (80% of 220).  I will need your high book average from this past winter season (summer average is OK if that is all you have).  Last year’s average is used for the first week’s handicap and then discarded.  Your average (and handicap) will change every week based on the scores you turn in.  This is a fun tournament.  We’re playing for fun, so we’re all on the honor system.  Pick one league to use throughout the BFDT.  A second league or tournament score may be used if your primary league is not held (weather, illness, out of town…) for some reason.  Please contact me if you need to substitute for your main league.  Reply here or message me if you have any questions.

Yes, this tourney is different than the one Strikinmachine (pick your partner scratch doubles) is running.  Set your prefferences to about 30 days to see all the rules and posts.  In a nutshell, high and low averages are paired together to make even averaged teams.  I do a scratch and handicap (80% of 220) recap each week.

Oops, forgot a bowler who messaged me some time ago.  Sorry Curly, must have forgotten to write you on the list.  Still have an odd number of bowlers.  Need one more, or I may have to leave off the last person (Glen) signed up for now and get him a partner later.

First week will be 8/31 - 9/6.

You can use another league if you're not bowling Labor Day.  If you don't have another league or a tournament to use, I'll assign a blind of 10 minus the average.
