Help Identify Quantum
« on: June 28, 2014, 11:51:05 PM »
*update: Alas I know what it is.... It is an Aquamarine!  20 years old and I still love this damn ball

*update: I finally got in touch with people from Brunswick and they are looking into it for me.  All they could tell from the serial # is that it was released in '94 so they are going over pictures and other info from me.  It sounds like it might be narrowed down to aquamarine or midnight blue.

*update: Pictures from my cell phone are too large to post here.  I know there is a way to identify from the serial number but I can't find the quantum coding system.

I bought this Quantum back in the 90's and don't remember what model it is.  It is sort of a pearly/swirly aqua blueish color and the serial number is 1HC5088.  Can someone help identify it for me?

Thanks!!

If you can post a picture it would probably help identify the ball.

…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Yeah hard to do it without a pic.  Could be the Blue Denim Quantum as well.

It looks similar to the one pictured above but it seems just ever so slightly more greenish but not much.  The other side of the ball has a big Q.  I have looked online and have found several models that look really similar so that is why I was hoping we could use the serial number to identify.

Serial number means nothing unless your the manufacture for that purpose.

Definitely sounds like the Aquamarine.  It was the one that was cleanest through the front part of the lane of all the Quantums released I believe other than the Helix's.
