Light oil ball

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good ball for light oil lanes?  I am pretty new to bowling and I am using a 16pd. Roto-Grip Apocalypse, which is working out fine when I am on medium to heavy oil lane conditions.  However, when I am on light oil lanes my score drops considerably or by the time I figure out what I need to do to adjust, it is too late.  The ball seems to react alot different on the two different conditions.  Do you think it is just me not knowing how to adjust (very possible) or could I help myself with a ball for dryer lanes?  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

get a storm barbed wire(roto grip and storm are basically the same thing)...teh barbed wire is perfect for dry lanes...i throw one and i have very high revs and its perfect when the lanes are fried.  if u decide to stay with roto grip, get the sonic x...similar type of reaction.  either way it will be fine...when the lanes dry out, a ball change is a must if u want to keep up your score.  the aggressive balls start rolling out too early and they become hard to control and carry with.  hope this helps.  both of those balls are relatively cheap...$130 drilled should be teh most u pay for teh barbed wire.

I second that, the Barbed Wire works great on dry lanes. Its clean thru the heads and flies on the backend, and its carry is excellent.
