Hi All,

I'm proud to present to you The Hammer RAZYR Video from Videoballreviews.com!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iivoKOE0mgA (it will be on my site later tonight)

My Take on the ball:

HammerHeads your call has been answered! I know alot of you have been asking for a ball weaker than the Vibes and hammer has delivered. This ball is unlike any 3 Piece i have ever thrown. Very good length, with a big move off the friction. The carry does not suffer one bit due to its lack of core. This ball absolutely kills Cheetah and Viper on HPL's for me, and im sure will come in handy for the later games of long tournament blocks.

One warning tho, this thing does not like oil...in fact on the house shot it let me play in the dry, but if i missed left it would skate in the puddle in the middle and sometimes not round the corner at all. Make sure you have a good amount of friction to throw at and you should see excellent results!

As always comments and questions are welcome...

Surprising amount of movement for a 3 piece core!  Can't say I ever see enough friction to use something like this with my speed and rev rate, but I can already think of a couple people I'm going to recommend look into getting this ball.

And wow, it's amazing how differently the Viper pattern plays for you compared to how it plays in my PBA Experience league.  If anyone with less than Robert Smith rev rate tried to swing it out to the 2 board like you did, with ANY ball, it'd fall straight in the channel or at best take out the 3-6.    Heck, after carrydown set in, I had to move right a lot and stand right on top of the friction with my Cell and point it to the left.

I agree, i have bowled on viper where the gutter did not play at all...But on this center with hpl's the gutter hooks almost as much as cheetah!

I'm also on HPL synthetics actually.  And neither the Viper nor the Cheetah had much hook at all by the gutter for us.  (I actually played the Chameleon last night almost identical to the Viper with 1000 instead of 2000 abralon surface on my Cell, playing first arrow and pointing it toward the pocket a little, breakpoint around the 8-9 board)

That right there is one of the issues with the PBA patterns...yours is prolly playing as the pattern was intended, but the differences in lane machines, oil, lane topography, etc etc can make a pattern play extremely different.

For instance, i am bowling in a PBA Experience league in another house locally, we bowled on cheetah the first 4 weeks and there was no bounce off the gutter...and let me tell you, cheetah plays REAL tough when the 1-2-3 boards dont hook

NO CORE??

How is it possible to knock pins done without a core??

Wow, don't tell anyone who believes that the core shape really matters..

the core shape doesn't matter, it's the friction of the surface and how Britton is throwing the ball.

Valentino is right. My WD, which has the same 3piece pancake weight block in it, when used on a lane with a TON of friction can carry with the best. Never thought i would say this, but my plastic is prob the most consistent ball that i own

we have wood lanes and put the cheetah out not to long ago for somebody going to bowl in a regional and it played quite familier to was it does on tv outside had plenty of hook and had a few ways to attack it, inside and outside as long as you got it to the first few boards

Core shape doesn't matter, RG and differential matter...
