Just throwing it out there, I do notice my backswing being pretty "loopy" as it tends to cross behind my back, it is on the table to work on, but any suggestions on how to work on it would be appreciated.

Yes. In your downswing, try to keep the ball closer to your slide foot. You tend to get your arm away from your body just a tad. Also try to keep your hand behind the ball especially at the height of your backswing.  You tend to "open" your hand in the height of your backswing. That create's more of a loop.

Your approach and balance at the line are good. Maybe getting down a little lower at the line may help. Nice overall game though.

Thanks for the comments! I really have been working and getting to the point I am now has taken a lot of work. Everytime I bowl I have a check list and work on things and its just one step at a time. I have a feeling with a few more practice sessions and hopefully one coming up with my proshop guy I can get the swing really straightend out and fix the release point location in one step.

I just am doing what I can and am going to try to film everytime I bowl to help me self analyze and get some help from others like on this website.

well for input i can say 1 thing
looks like a good form only a lil stiff and lil upright
if u  could get more kneebend i think ud be even better
ur really smooth though. i think if things get REAL dry
u might be in trouble as u dont seem to have alot of speed
just my general observations

Heh, you have really nailed my kryptonite there on the dry lane comment. I tend to goto plastic at that point. I try not to muscle my swing and am trying to work on it and a side product at the moment is lack of ball speed, I do think I'll be able to recoup some with some practice and hopefully get things to improve more.

what i like:

- steady head! very good level!
- smoothness overall

what i would suggest to change

- theres something weird u do with ur wrist when u get down from ur backswing
- be able to eliminate some loft, unless u want specifically loft always.
--------------------
When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

Thanks for the comments, I see a trend and noticed it as my swing is just kind of wack, its got some kinks at the moment but I think I have a decent enough foundation that with some dedicated practice I think I will be able to smooth it out and it may fix the loft issue as well. I think its just everything negative thus far is the swing and things involving it so I have a main idea of what I try and work on.

nice vid.. can't add to whats been posted so far other than the poor shots at the beginning your feet were early to the line and you were pulling the ball through as you were very upright at the line, then you slowed down and looked much better...

6 lane house in a bar, its a small town lol.

But that leave was odd, I think I took out the 1-2-5-8-9, it was really weird, 5 count split.

I did the same thing with the looped swing.

What my coach had me do was push the ball in on the push away towards the center of my chest rather than straight out. It worked and took no mental effort or reps to get down.

I did it in a mirror to convince myself before I had hit the lanes again. The arm goes straight back rather then behind me. I also tape my practice but it's an analog camcorder hi8 that isn't easily converted without tossing money at it. I'd show you the major differences from the back on tape if I could.

Try it out and see. Get both push away's on tape from behind and you should notice it's easily straightened out.

Thanks for the insight, i've heard from a few sources now the same response and hopefully, not really too sure yet, but I might get the chance to film again tonight when I goto practice. I'm going to try it out. I've also found that my swing tends to be better in a one step approach and it just hasn't completely transitioned yet, but I think with some practice and more hard work i'll iron it out soon.

Thanks again though for the response, I just can't say enough about the help i've gotten on here and the extra view points and eyes on the video make it much easier to narrow down and find ways to fix the wrongs.

looking at this video i see myself about 2 years ago...ill give you advice that i used and it greatly improved my game...may work for you may not...about your body postition during the approch seems like your in the same postition the whole way till your release your not completly upright...i did the sammeeee thing...so i worked on it a bit because sometimes i would get a little off balance from too much forward lean...maybe try standing upright your first few steps then go into your releasing approch...like i said its only my opinion but it help me ALOTTT...good luck
