that last video makes you look terrible / walled up shot as you had half the lane as the breakpoint.... one of the benefits of speed + revs on an easy THS.

but you do seem to win and I say whatever works.... works!

(but i think most people will bash you after watching that.... just like they did in the comments)

Yep, that was a couple years ago, definitely made alot of improvements since then, but like you said, did what it took to win and that's what matters most of the time. Doesn't matter how pretty you look if you don't get the results you're looking for.

Yeah, people have bashed me online as well as in person.  Either way doesn't really bother me cause when it comes down to it, I'm confident that I'd be able to beat them. Unless I'm doing something illegal, which I've been approached about on numerous occasions, just as many times proven them wrong because I've studied all the rules and regs on this new style.

When you go against the grain or the masses, you're bound to get flack because it's something new and different proving to others that their way isn't the only way to do something.  Also proves that you're doing something right.

the great thing about this guy is he keeps his elbow fairly strait giving him huge revs but very controllable. also he can then go strait by flattening out his wrist more

I like your attitude!

keep it up and prove yourself on the lanes... when it comes to bowling its all about the score and not how you made the pins fall.

if I was carrying an average in the 230's and someone told me my form was all wrong id just laugh it up . SET EM' UP! KNOCK EM' DOWN!

O and BTW I never did understand why the two handed technique was ever looked down upon. I mean there really isnt much difference by simply no thumbing and that was around for a long time.

and I had a sub that was a no thumber... averaged 235 with ease and it was simply amazing how accurate he was! don't knock it if you can't beat em'. thats what I think!

AFAIK, Hawaii TV tourneys use the PBA Senior Tour Patterns.

Justin Stevens is the real deal. Great attitude, great person, and great bowler.

Do you know how much it costs for airfare feom Hawaii?  Kinda plenty!!

Hey there P0wa,

Just to get to your question about me not going into the PBA.  I would love to give it a go, unfortuntely it does take money to take that leap and alot of factors to put into account to make that happen. Unfortunately, being in Hawaii, we don't have regular PBA stops out here, we catch a regional or 2 every year, but it wouldn't make sense to join the tour if I'm intending on still living out here.  There really isn't enough money on tour to just up and go try it out, so I've decided that for now, it's not in my cards.

If circumstances change and just so happen I make the move the mainland, you can definitely for sure go ahead and look for me on the regional circuit then eventually on the national, but as for now, just being happy and doing my best living in paradise and being a big fish in a smaller pond for now and catch the regionals when they come around.

so you were 40pins below for nationals huh...
not to knock on you, but how come it was such a big difference?
I would think 230+ on a house shot can at least do 200 on a sport shot...

So you looked me up eh? Nah, it was a rough year at Nationals for me this year.  Unfortunately, in Hawaii we really don't get any good practice any sport shots cause they don't lay it out here unless it's in a tourney or something. So everytime I go to the mainland for a tourney, I'm really needing to use it as practice as well and just couldn't get anything rollin' for me during Nationals.  I was blessed enough to win the money I had put into the tournament back including jackpots and brackets so sometimes that's a win for me.

I will stick up for my friend Justin, I bowled with him in Juniors, and he has a great game, two handed or using the normal 2 fingers and thumb.  I will still kick his butt, but he has the potential to be a great bowler and do wish you luck.  You need to move back to AZ!!!
