First off I usually dont get involved on things like this. Everytime I post something on here people always bash me. I have been bowling since last november. I have had 3 300 games a 298 and a 299. Finished out the 06 07 season with a high average of 214. I am currently averaging with a low of 218 and a high of 228 between 4 different leagues. Some in different houses. Most people think I started bowling young. I am only 25 now. I dont know near as much as alot of people on here. But I can tell you that it is possible for people do get good in a short amount of time. I bowled almost everyday trying to learn the game for a year. I do not spray the ball all over the lane I am very accurate I bowled 2 regionals this year and averaged deuce on both and bowled indiana masters wich is tuff sport shot. Missed match play by 1 pin. But did cash. Nicholas you are a good house bowler right now. Not bashing you or anyone else but if you really want to take it to the next level when you bowl on the house shot focus at a target on the lane not just look right and throw the ball I mean pick a board and really focus. Once you start hitting your target everytime You will take your game up and be better on sport shots. If you miss target and strike it was a bad shot even though it struck. Just focus and try to hit a target. Move around on the lanes swinging it going straight and so on. Also anybody that will every be good will always shoot spares straight on sport shots you cannot hook at spares because there is no free hook on the lane. I bowled a pba experience league during the summer They do use different oils on the regionals and it is laid out different as well. Just because the pba website tells you that you can attack from all angles that means nothing. Depending on lane surface and oil used means everything. Also I have never seen the shark pattern swung out to the first arrow. Maybe pipe it straight up five toward the pocket. The shark 98% of the time has to be played deep inside. Again not trying to bash anyone or trying too toot my own horn I am just saying If you want to get great you will need to learn how to focus on a target I can tell now you are not it looks like you are just looking to the right and throwing it down there.
