The Danger Zone Pro-HP Hook is the most aggressive ball in the Zone Pro line, with extra hook, extra power and an even arc right out of the box. It is similar to the Zone Pro Azure in overall strength but cleaner through the front. The ball is designed for the high-performance stroker who needs a powerful hook and is best on medium to oily lanes, or where more mid-lane arc is needed. A new proactive manufacturing process creates the strong hooking pattern of a dull ball, but with a cleaner front end than prior dull proactive materials. Well first off, to understand my review, look at my profile.  I recieved my HPH from a guy that couldn't get it to do anything.  I went ahead and baked it and resurfaced it to a 600-grit wet-sanding, followed up with hook-it.  WOW!  this ball can really cover some distance.  now I usually roll a down & in shot, but with the HPH I can cover over half the lane with ease.  My go to shot (with a 1996 Pacific Storm)is line up around the second dot from the left, and roll it out to about the 5 board or so...and around 45 feet, let the ball flip and come back to the pocket. But when I use the HPH, I can easily line up 1 dot to the right of center arrow and still lay it out around the 4-6 board before this ball comes flying back into the pocket.  I've never had a problem with a ball hooking too much on heavy oil till now.  And when I wanna be ballsy, I can sand it to 1500, polish it with control it, and still run dry lanes with this ball with the same pocket-slamming action that you get with out-of-box coverstock!  All-in-all I would give this ball a 9 out of 10, as it dies very quickly and needs oil extracted out of it every few months or so.  Very high upkeep for this ball!

Bought this ball after reading reviews that weren't too good for it hoping I could be lucky and get it to work. I went to my local pro shop and found it used for $60. Got it fingertip drilled with not a real strange drilling pattern.  First game wasn't too great with it (177). But after using it for about a month, I got pretty comfortable with it. I took it to my league and rolled my highest game ever 287. In my opinion, the best lane conditions are medium-heavy to light oil. Has a ton of backend if the outside boards are lighter oiled than the middle of the lane. I wouldn't recommend this ball on dry lanes it will just drive way too hard and you will leave lots of splits and 4 pins. One cleaner that does wonders for this ball is the Power House Energizer Cleaner. Adds about 5 boards of length to the ball and gives it a great snap on the backend.

I took a 7 year leave of abscence from the game....and when I came back...did I get a rude awakening.

I was using all Brunswick equipment...Rhino Pros...and when I left they were plenty.  However apon my return they did nothing; dead straight.  So I went and got all new stuff.

Stuck with Brunswick and the HPH is the first new ball I got.  It's not drilled to be real aggressive and it rolls early, but if you get it on the right condition it's an ok ball.  With the way it's drilled(at least for me) on heavy oil and it need to be worked to finish....

I have also recently polished it....works much better on the backend.  Still rolls real early and is better when the heads are fresh...and all in all it's still a good ball.

ok before this i hated zones , everyone had one just made me sick .until i won it in a raffle at state. for 5 bucks i though what the hell might as well . got it drilled for a full roller . i went from 170's too 200's like that . so much control an consistansy . this ball is definatly a keeper . so if your a full roller like me this is the ball for you . i threw my high game 299 this year with it !!!

Bought this ball for 30 bucks got it drilled with finger wioeght, it is the beast ball in heavier oil conditions.  It comes way back to the pocket for an old ball, don't underestimate it, I can shoot ten ten backend with this ball.

me again!!! this ball is awsome i finally rolled a 300 and i got a 721series and if any one knows where i can get one of these new in box that would be sweet . the one i have hasnt died its just the bowling alley i bowl at likes to chew up the balls ....
