2 for 2 with the C-system
« on: October 16, 2009, 02:26:47 AM »
Hey guys I just have to say that this ball is phenomenal. A few weeks ago I rolled a perfecto with my first C-system. Earlier this week I fianally made up my mind and decided to punch a second one. This one is laid out 65x5x70 no x-hole required. And wouldn't you know it I rolled another perfect game with the new C-system. Sorry for the FIGJAM but I just had to share.

What's wrong with the Lane #1 peeps?

What's wrong with posting some positive results with a ball? Look at any other company's threads and you'll see that big scores get announced...

I have the c-system as well and it's a fine ball, no question.

However, figjams from staffers (at least, for me) don't mean much..

No offense meant..

OddBalls,

Thanks for the clarification. FIGJAMS from me should mean something because I'm not that great a bowler.

This particular ball has made me look like I know what I'm doing at times. Is it the cure-all for all bowling ills? Nope, but it has hidden many a bad shot from this bowler.

To help judge the ball better, at least for me it would be interesting to know your average and how many 300s you have bowled with other balls.
Thanks

More and more ball companies are requiring there 'staffers' to do more postings and reporting of scores and results with the equipment. The unfortunate part is that it can come across as FIGJAMS, no matter who it is doing the reporting...

It's fine to post negative results, but gawd forbid you post something positive.

i am not on brunswicks staff nor do i receive any free equipment from anyone. yet i choose to buy and throw brunswick exclusively. rest assured everyone on this site will get an honest evaluation from me. i will get my first chance to try my c-system 2.5 on monday. the owner of the house i bowl my mixed league at will put out a fresh shot for me to evaluate this ball. my 2.5 was drilled with the pin right next to my ring finger, the cg is stacked, and the psa is slightly to the right, and below the thumbhole. there is a 1" hole about an inch below my axis. the surface is 2,000 abralon and polished.

Ah! There''s the rub. It''s a balance we need and what we do not see.

If they would report the achievements along  with the less than favorable results, then we can accept all that they post.
When they ONLY post the achievements, then how do we know what can we believe?

I leave it up to you.

This spoken as one who REALLY wants to be able to try the C-System ball, but has not yet had the opportunity.

I have spoken as one who never thrown EXLCLUSIVELY all Brunswick balls, but who is one who has, since I returned to bowling in 1995, has always had at least one, if not four Brunswick balls in his arsenal AT ALL TIMES!!
