299 with rampage
« on: September 30, 2006, 02:29:18 PM »
i shot a 299 tonight with my brunswick bvp rampage---only a solid 7 kept me from perfection. our mixed league on saturday night has our usual blended pattern with 40' of oil---gradually drier to the outsides till you get to about 4-5 then there's an ob to the gutter. i could tell during shadow balls that the backend reaction would be very good until some carrydown changed that. but it never did. my rampage is wetsanded 1,000 grit and finished off with brunswick's polish giving me more of a skid/snap reaction. the carry changed during the second game( three ringing 10's and a solid 9 ) plus a 4-9 split for 212. i found the groove again in game 3 as i shot 257 for a 768 series. thanks to brunswick for making a great ball like the rampage !

Excellent shooting. I shot 299/781 with my Red Zone last week.

it must be these two brunswick balls, the bvp rampage and the red zone. i've left more solid 7's, 8's, and 9's this year than ever before.
