3.5 is there a better all around ball?
« on: January 30, 2010, 12:39:32 AM »

I just drilled up this Monster
This ball is on steroids. I drilled several balls this month that I really like. Ex.2 Pure swings Jigsaw Corner, Lane 1 Curve,505A 505C 920A .Mutant Cell I like all these balls but the 3.5 puts them all to sleep. If there's a better ball than this I want it.  The Mission out next week I guess I'll try One on for size.

The 3.5 is a great ball. If you love that ball check out the Evil Siege. It is a great compliment to the 3.5.

am a tweener with ball seed around 17 med revs. I actuall drilled  mine 3.5 pin above the ring mass  bias 45 degrees small weigjht hole on pap. Very good length with Amazing back end I drilled it this way because of the quick response to friction which is exactly as advertised
Good luck with yours
Mine already paid for itself in the pot games last night.

i can't wait to try mine monday. it's drilled basically 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 with a x-hole just below my pap. the surface is 2,000 micropad and polished. my 2.5 is set up the same way....we'll see the difference between the two.

Layouts?

I'd go pin up for most bowlers on this ball.

Reign of Fire and Invasion. Any of the new Columbia stuff. I would put the Brunswick stuff up there though. At least your still ahead of Ebonite. Even though that is the flagship Hopkinsville brand I'm still not sure they've fixed the cover problems with them.

Total Bedlam?

You gotta be kidding. I get more movement from a Motiv SX-1 on true medium-heavy oil.
