boycote brunswick
« on: February 25, 2010, 01:04:04 AM »
They moved there plant to mexico costing americans jobs so they can save money at the expense of putting out an inferior product. Alot of ball from mexico come with mis-marked CG and MB and should be blems but are not because on the surface the look right and mexico dose not have quality control. I recently got a mojave that was mad by brunswick at the mexico plant was not a blem but CG and MB were both mis-marked on the ball and before you all say that is one ball I have seen numerous brunswick ball will a lot of the same issues.

I have used brunswick balls for quite a few years now, and have seen the double punched CGs on their balls that were made in Mexico.  The CG being off by less than 1/4" shouldn't make too much of a difference when drilling.  But, I have never seen a mis-marked MB.  How would you know that the MB was mis-marked on a ball?  Do you have a picture of the mis-marked MB?  I will continue to buy their equipment because they make quality balls that work as well as the other manufacturers.

What's a boycote?

Why didn't you have the ball returned for defect?

no thanks here also, in our shop, the Brunswick's seem to resist cracking and
have longer coverstock life, and the 3.5 system is among the best.

You do realize they kept the offices and design here in the states and kept as many jobs as possible, if they would have stayed here they would have probably folded and that would sure be worse than moving to Mexico as it would have costed all the employees their jobs.

I was bitter at first but am well over it. Just think of how much stuff you own or buy is actually made in the States? Not much, do you golf? If so are you boycotting the club makers because they are done overseas?

I'm tired of this dumb beef, no company is perfect and you should try dealing with them instead of bashing online, i guarantee they would stand behind their product if just you contacted them.

P.S. i have no affiliation with brunswick and do not own any of their equipment, i'm not biased in any manner

Yeah Brunswick!!!!

Do whatever is best so I can have something to bowl with. I'd rather you pay legal mexicans in Mexico then illegal Mexicans here.
