Brunswick Infinity (WWRD 6/22/2023) Updated WWRD
« on: June 01, 2023, 03:40:18 PM »
Brunswick Infinity@15lbs  2.521  .051  .010  DynamiCore/D.O.T.
WWRD 06/22/2023   12-16 lbs   Alternate Core 12-13lbs
Core- Infinity Asymmetric (New)
Coverstock- A.X.H. Hybrid (Activator Xtreme Hook)

The new Brunswick Infinity is placed in the All Purpose category and price point. What’s different is the engine. Using a higher RG, med-high Diff and the lower-mid Int. Diff build, the Infinity core creates a clean ball motion early and picks up in the mids without being overly strong into the back friction but does keep it’s continuation. The Infinity would slot between the Mindset (Big Asym) and the Knock Out Bruiser (Strong Sym). The smoother finish allows more of a footprint and overall reaction on Medium volumes or Heavier volumes that are transitioning into more friction. You can adjust the cover to fine tune the reaction for your needs.
Box Surface- 500/2000 Siaair      Color- Purple Ice/Navy/Red
Recommended Cleaner: Reaction Recharge

Punched my Infinity pin in ring 45x4.25x45 and have had 3 outings with it - house, 41' Beaten Path and 45' Route 66.  Infinity is strong, arcy and predictable - all purpose ball motion.  Nothing that stands out about the shape - it is neither super grippy, skid flippy or sensitive to oil but that is what makes this ball good.  The Infinity provides just steady ball reaction for medium to heavy oil.
It is much cleaner than a Mindset or Evo Solid, but not nearly as jumpy off the friction as my Knockout Bruiser or Evo Pearl.
This is the kind of ball that would do well on fresh oil in league, be a safe #2 ball in my tournament bag and has a safe enough reaction that could come into play on anything from 36' short to longer patterns.
