CGNOMADAH?

Really?  I guess someone needs to tell a certain staffer to get back on the bandwagon then.

Could be a blem and the CG is mis-marked.  With the correct CG mark and the usual Brunswick engraving, that'd be a pretty small PAP-pin-CG angle, in which case your comment might make sense.  But if the true CG is somewhere else, who knows?

Anyhow...  and even though I have a few Lane#1 pieces I'm not of the kool-aid drinking sect, I just felt like pointing it out to stir things up a little bit.

Man, I drilled a Dynothane Special EFX with that layout years ago. I did wobble a little bit, but I think it helped it to get some length. I actually shot 300 with that piece O Crap ball.

So you were doing the wobbling and not the ball?  What was your bar tab like? LOL

Nice Catch J_Mac. Back then, I wobbled quite a bit too. There were plenty of nights after bowling with a $60-$80 bar tab back then. That damn tequila!!

At least it wasn't Patron... $60-$80 should get you a bottle or two of it, but in a bar that might get you 6-8 shots of it.

Not uncommon to find mis-marked CG's on Brunswick made balls if it was made in Michigan before the move to Mexico.

But this isn't a ball that was manufactured in Michigan, so bringing up that point isn't really valid.

That layout is money when everything else is not reading the mids.  I remember having a Nighthawk Revenge and Ice Blue Powergroove layed out like that back in the day and they were equally money on wet sport patterns in college.

In August I threw a 3x0 Solid T-Road that not only flared a ton in the mids but also turned the corner rather sharp with that layout too.  After bowling on the USBC Masters shot for 2 weeks, I can see how this layout would be beneficial for attacking the lanes on a more direct/outside angle.

My absolute inferno is layed out similar to that, and its used just for that purpose, direct lines, just pulling the string at the end for a little pop.

You wont give up the pocket with that layout, but you better hit your mark.
