brunswick arsenal
« on: July 25, 2004, 06:53:55 AM »
right now my brunswick arsenal for this fall looks like this:

raging inferno---maroon scotch-brite pad
ultimate inferno---2,000 grit wetsanded
inferno---2,000 grit wetsanded, highly polished
monster slayR---2,000 grit wetsanded, several cycles in lustrekleen machine
notre dame viz-a-ball---many cycles in lustrekleen machine

a nemesis may replace the inferno and a goliath may replace the raging inferno. what's everyone else using this fall ?

I've revised too

Goliath: Coming Soon
Inferno: 4 1/2 x 4
Raging Red Fuze: 4 x 4
Command Zone Arc: 4 1/2 x 4 1/2
Monster Slay/R: 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 1500 wetsand
Time Zone: 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 high gloss
Monster Scream/R: 4 1/2 x 4 3/4
Teal Rhino Pro: 4 x 5, super high gloss

I've gotten rid of my Blazing Inferno and I'm redrilling the Teal Rhino.  If that doesn't work in dry, I have a Sonic boom drilled for length that can fit the spot.  For my Big Oil ball I'll probaly go with Goliath since I'm not liking what I've seen from the Ultimate(Just too versatile on many conditions, and it works so well polished it's not really a true oil ball).

Did I read that right?  You don't like the Ultimate because it's *too* versatile?

I meant I'm not liking the Ultimate for use in heavy oil.  The ball self polishes itself too quick and it becomes a versatile strong arcing ball on mediums to meadium heavy.

DP3:  Ever try Doc's Magic Bowling Ball Elixir on the Ultimate?  I did with mine, and it never seemed to oil up.  All I had to do was keep the ball clean, and I could continue to use it on oil.

Here's what i have currently:
Warp Zone
Eliminator
Inferno
Blazing
SlayR

And this is what i'm considering for the fall
Ultimate
Eliminator
Classic Zone
Blazing
Power Groove solid, shined
SlayR

It all depends on what we can get from our ball contract really, i only wish i had the money to get everything i wanted.  If somehow we get more balls i want a Intense to take spot of the Blazing.  Still pondering layouts also, i want to have my stuff a little weaker this time to try to gain some more control downlane.  The Warp Zone has less than like 10 games, but the drilling was too crazy and i want to try the ultimate.
