Purple Fuze question
« on: February 27, 2005, 04:19:18 PM »
My proshop has a NIB purple fuze(pearl).  Its been sitting there for a longggg time.  So, I asked him what he wanted for it and he said $120 drilled.  Sounds good, what do you guys think?  Who had one and what did it do?

2nd best brunswick ball i ever threw. drilled right over label nothing fancy. pin about 130. i knew when it was gonna hook and could play any part of the lane. i still have it secretly stashed. was my go to ball for a long time.

I had one back in the day.  It was drilled similarly to my SlayR (5 x 5), except the pin was above the ring finger instead of through the ring.  Like the SlayR, it was great on those drier mediums where I could go more up the boards, but also like the SlayR, it didn't seem to want to turn the corner when I had to go more left to right.  Perhaps I would have had more success with it had I gone with a stronger drilling.

Only one guy around here has one and he sucks.  So, it is really hard to see the ball in action.  I was thinking about a control drill like, 2 x 2?  I have plenty of balls, but nothing drilled to control the backend.

Thanks for all the replies.

I had one and it hooked like a motha on the backend.  I would recommend a Punisher instead, cleaner up front than the cover that was on the purple fuze.
