Is there an octane solid coming?
« on: September 19, 2006, 07:38:35 PM »
I am just curious if brunswick is planning an octane solid coverstock. With the angularity that the radical inferno has, a solid cover for added midlane would just be sick in heavier oil. I would love to hear from someone in the know and give me some insight. Thanks.

Not sure, some of the Activator pearls were not able to be made into a solid.

Time will tell!

Yeah, it'll probably be an adapted version of Octane, such as they did with all the different variations of Activator.  I'm thinking we might see particle Octane before solid Octane though . . notice that they're lacking a higher end particle ball at the moment.

I think the problem lies with certain Activators and what it does to certain colors when its mixed as a solid or pearl. The colors would run together and have a "browning" effect on solids.

Take note that you have never seen a Activator+ Solid or Activator Advance Solid.

The Impulse Zone was also an Activator based particle.

I would agree that a particle pearl similar to the Ambush with the Zone core could be interesting.

Thats it! They need to make an Activator+ solid and call it the GRIZZly Inferno!
