« on: March 18, 2007, 01:10:06 PM »
im a consistent cranker and i have problems with my radical it never wants to finish into the pocket its makes the turn fine but like a foot after the turn it starts to rotate around the pin and doesn't make it to the pocket or if it does make it it hits like a cantalope i talked to the brunswick guy and he told me its to strong of a ball for to strong of a handed player what is that?? any other ball iv'e thrown it works fine soo any input would be great or any thing to fix it

There are 3 people at my house that just got one of these. (same family).  Granted, we don't put down a ton of oil, but they get them to roll out every single time.  Again, this isn't a great example becuase they aren't fabulous bowlers, but still, this ball seems to roll out very soon if you don't keep your speed down, (probably not your problem) or maybe in your case too much hand.  I've never heard of that being a problem though.  Well, good luck,

You sure the ball isn't burning up? Even though it is hooking, if it hits the pocket with no power it sounds like all the energy is out of the ball. You  may want to try and polish the ball, what surface do you curently have on your ball?

I've thrown this ball on more than one condition. To say that it doesn't match up to me, is an understatement! I really haven't found anyone who can match up to it, be they a "hvy-handed cranker" or a house-shot hack! The ball is just plain squirrly oob!

My suggestion to you is to take the surface down to about 800 and re-polish, and then see what you get. That is the only surface prep, so far, that seem to give this ball some consistency.

Rejuvinate the ball, I know it sounds nuts, but honestly the ball becomes so much better after it gets baked that it is nuts.  You may not think you have enough games on it and you likely don't but do it anyway.  I work in a proshop where we have actually joked about baking them before we drill them so they don't come back to us complaining that the ball they wanted isn't what they wanted.  The ball is wierd, that is for sure, but I will be willing to bet you a jelly doughnut that if you bake it you will like it.
