Question.........
« on: January 05, 2004, 01:50:29 AM »
would a raging inferno overlap my swamp monster? I am thinking about getting a raging inferno, but i see that my swamp monster hooks just as much or maybe more then a raging would. what do you guys think?

The Swamp Monster will hook earlier and more in HEAVY oil.  If/when you blow a hole in the pattern and have to move in, the Swamp Monster may burn up too early.  The Raging Inferno will work better here, has a little more length.  Not so much early as the Swamp Monster.

I definately do not think the Raging will over lap the Swamp monster....they're 2 totally different balls with 2 totally differnent break points.  The raging would definately be the go to ball once you move in but still want recovery on med-med heavy. From what I've seen the swamp monster really isnt on its "A" game when covering alot of boards, like someone said above, it burns up.  But on heavy fresh, its a great ball.

Well thevadon802, it was my average last year. I am averaging a lot better this year, and plus I usally get my equipment from people that don't want it ne more so it just appears in my bag unless I want a ball that someone is not trying to give away.

I'm not familiar with the Swamp....

But I can tell you that the regular inferno is NOT near as strong as the Raging.....

Hey, thevadon802 and lefty, some are addicted to alchol, some to drugs and then there's me.  170-175 average and approximately 75 bowling balls.  I've had lessons--I'm one of those people who's not too coordinated and I doubt if I'll ever average 200, but I have a lot of fun.
