Strike Zones......
« on: December 29, 2005, 01:40:14 AM »
What are your experiences and opinions of this ball?

I know the Zones and Infernos use the Activator Coverstocks

and that many say the Zones are more Tuneable since they are Asymmetrical.

I just picked one up and going to try it for the first time tonight in league.

Let me know Brunswick Nation.

I can tell you my experience with the ball-It is very aggressive on shorter league shots(38-40 ft). I drilled my somewhat weaker (flare-wise) with the pin under my ring finger and the PSA right of my thumb with no weight hole and it is a mover on the back end on normal house shots. I have tryed it on a 43 ft sport pattern that a junior league had just finished on and it was still quite strong. Of course, the backend slowed down a bit, but it still gripped early enough to drive thru the deck well.
