i apologize for the sarcasm but this stuff just pisses me off after a while. ive been bowling for about 18 years, ive been a 190 avg for roughly past 12 (before resin) but the past couple years ive seen some truly amazing things.
mostly some of the older guys in the league who have been in there longer than i. for years these people were 170-175 avg bowlers. now they get these hook monsters drilled to flare 12 inches and they get as much entry as the crankers with 3 or 4 rolls of the ball. and im tempted to post the url for our league so some of you can see what im talkin about.

now when resin came out i had a hard time adjusting since i turned the ball pretty hard, i dound resins at first to be uncontrollable, till i got a purple rhino pro and the rest is history. and when i purchase new stuff i try to get the stuff that goes longer, and with my x-factor i usually have to take some hand out of it, or it just snaps to hard.

It seems warp is a big hooker only because of its cover stock set up. That can be easily changed and tammed. What is interesting is the nature of the cover and how the weight block works.

I find this ball to be tempting. I don't need this ball to hook off the lane- my Super Freak (drilled 4x4, pin drilled into ring finger, burgundy scotch brite pad) does that for me. However, I will agree with Lion. This ball looks like it could be tamed. If you look at the RG characteristics on the ball info sheet, it really isn't as low as the heavier hooking balls like the Phenoms, Super Freaks, Swamp Monster, and the like.

I am tempted to get this ball for a medium-heavy lane pattern... you know... the longer house patterns that have the slicker/harder surfaces (like the Brunswick Anvil-Lane surface), or when carrydown is present in the 7th frame of that first game. If i were to get this ball, i'd drill it with probably with a 6x4 (pin under the middle finger for me) and keep the coverstock pretty dull. Here, I can take the core out of play and let the shell just do the work.

I've done 6x4 drillings with a TPS3 before and was very satisfied what I got with it.
