Wild Thing I Think I Love You!
« on: April 18, 2010, 02:05:42 PM »
Just got my new Wild Thing drilled Friday night just before league. I mean my ball driller handed it to me during warm ups. Did not get a shot with it. But decided to try it anyway. Too much oil 1st game and I switched back to my Diamondback. Now I was really messed up and could not convert anything. 61 pins below avg. Game 2 I moved right with the WT and really took off. Finished with 231. Game 3 stayed with the same line and had a 255. Best game I have shot in some time. For me looks like the WT is the ball for games 2 & 3. My DB (4000) or Blast Zone (2000 + polish) for game 1. The WT has a great look down the lane like none of my other Big B balls. Got-a love it.

Mine is definitely a favorite. On fresh I just move slightly closer to friction, but this ball for me really recovers great.

You're welcome. Keep me posted as you shoot some more big scores with it... If you use it they will come.

I have drilled alot of different brand balls for customers and a few for myself. I will say one thing.....the Wild Thing has to be one of the most underrated balls on the market. This ball just has awesome carry and lane coverage. I have drilled several for team members and they are all shooting some of their highest series for their careers. My bro-in law just shot a 770 with his last week.... Wish I would have purchased more of them. Quite the sleeper !!!!

Mine rolls great. Drilled it on a leverage pattern. It is clean through the heads with a very strong and consistent finish on the backends. Usually on the first game if they have a little more oil I can still throw it I just have to keep my speed down.

I have to ask, although im not sure anyone has compared the 2.  How does the WT compare to a Mission?

Shawn

In the bag

Brunswick 3.5(pin over ring, mb 60º) light polish over OOB
Ebonite Mission(pin under bridge, MB 70º, low weight hole) polish over OOB
Storm Fast(pin under bridge, low weight hole)
Storm Natural(pin over ring)

Coming soon
high scores??
