Today (12/31) when I select "Latest Posts", the listing is shown in chronological order.
Yesterday (12/30) and with the old version of BR, I used to get a display of all the forums which had posts I had not seen yet, but they were grouped within the order of the forums in which they were posted, and under each topic.
 
I preferred the old way but is there a way I can switch between them, OR did I already make a selection that I was not aware of?? With all the changes, I might have selected soemthing without realizing its effect.

its something new as it happened to me without selecting anything.
 
I also realized that when you go to latest posts it groups things. so if someone posts something in storm it comes up as being posted in equipment and doesnt tell you which forum unless you click into it.

I agree, I prefer the latest posts grouped by category not chronologically. However, if that's my biggest complaint, I'll get used to it.

Yea, it was fine yesterday, now its showing them all grouped together. Not liking this too much. The grouping of posts set this forum apart from others in that we could sort out what we wanted to see from what we didn't want to see.

I also like the forums display, but it continues to show the latest post from dec 30th.  I even tried logging out and logging back in hours later and it still shows latest posts from dec 30th.

When everything else fails, I usually delete my cookies and start over.
You could first check your browser to see what is set as the default for getting a fresh copy of the current web page.
