Sent Private Messages

Even though I have sent numerous private messages/emails via the site, I do not see any sent messages in the mail/sent section. Is there a option to save sent messages somewhere or something? I don't see it, TIA

There is a check box right above the submit button that says "Save in Sent Items".

Ahh ok saw it today, if you check it, will it stay that way? Or do you have to do it with every message sent? thanks
