« on: February 09, 2009, 01:11:46 AM »
When I click on the Miscellaneous - Bowling Related forum, I get the following message.

Microsoft VBScript runtime  error '800a0006'

Overflow: 'CInt'

/Forum/Topics.asp, line 75

All other forums seems to work just fine.

That error occurs if you are using the forum hack to see more days than we allow. You will need to reset your days to go back using the preferences link.

It's been so long since I did this hack, can you refresh my memory on how to reverse it?

What is the maximum allowed days?

I get the same error, but only on some forums.

I just changed my days back to 2920 days (from 1825) because I wanted to read an older thread (in the Faball forum).  I was able to read the thread without any problems, but now can't get into the General Sale forum - no problems getting into individual companies.

Here is the link I used - wonder if it is the change to 1000 for the number of items?

The max number of days would depend on the board. The error happens because the number of posts within the date range specified exceeds the maximum value for the code. This means that less-active boards can support going back further than their more-active counterparts.

I got info from another thread to change the days on the hack I added to go back way far. I haven't been on this forum much anyways, so I simply went back to the recommended settings and all is well.
