Anyone heard from schitzosam?
« on: January 27, 2006, 02:26:23 AM »
Bought a NIB ball from him last week.  Received a pm from somebody using his user name claiming to be in the hospital and the shipment of my ball would be delayed until later on in the week.  No biggie, poop happens.  Hope he feels better/heals/recovers soon.  Nothing since Monday.  Anyone got some 411 to share?

I've bought a couple balls from him and he has came through as promised.  I would expect to hear from him soon.

I just purchased a NIB from him 2 weeks ago. The ball was shipped with tracking #'s & no problems at all. Hope you get your ball soon...

Thanks, rotofan.

I hope everything is fine with him.  I know when I was in the hospital last year that I was lucky enough to have the nurses provide me with a laptop to play around with.  I even bought a 3-ball bag from Rev_o during my stay.  I just don't care for the length of time between contacts.  11 days is a long time to not have a chance to get an item shipped.  The only bright spot is a new piece of equipment isn't going to help my game right now, so it's not imperative that it get here that soon.

I've given schitzosam until Thursday, 2/2/06, to return my messages.  I hope everything's fine with him.  However, the absence of a tracking number or additional information leaves me a bit worried.  I'm not in dire straits for a ball, but, would like to be kept in the loop of info, that's all.

Just received a pm from schitzosam.  He was, indeed, just released from the hospital this morning and promptly apologized for the delay in this deal.  He has offered to provide a tracking number tomorrow morning  Thank you, and I hope you're feeling better!

Well I don't know if anybody is getting anything.
We received a refund for our purchase from Sam and
my customer is steaming! I have stated to him what
Sam told me via pm so you all should have gotten
something. Looks like all or just our purchase was
stolen with or without his car. If that is the case
then he's going through a bit of bad luck with the
illness & theft. I hope the thief enjoys the Roto
Grip SD 73 15lb NIB ball because it was a hard too
find ball. We have never dealt with Sam before so
this didn't go too well for us and our customer.
But I always believe a BR member with good feedback
until proven otherwise!

Well, schitzosam's either one of the unluckiest fellows on the face of the planet or, well, let's just say that the alternative is not friendly to state.  After nearly two weeks and a claim to provide a tracking number Wednesday, my money was refunded Wednesday evening. I would rather have received the ball, but, it could have been a lot worse, as it has appeared to be for schitzosam.  He seems to have an excellent track record on this site and I hope that his next transactions flow much smoother than these last ones have.
