bowlingnut07 deal with caution
« on: July 18, 2008, 12:49:20 AM »
Seems that bowlingnut07 is pretty much as guilty as he claims Dyno-thane300 is.  Had a deal in the works with him, all we had left was to send pics of each others items.  Well went to the pro shop a little to late, so I had to deal a day in getting pics of the ball I was to trade.  So make the trip there next day, and low and behold he already traded it.  Nothing like wasting a trip and burning up the gas in my tank.  Nothing to tell me that he might have another deal, just send an email that he got a two for one deal for the ball and could not resist.  Not even a sorry, or anything along those lines.  It takes a lot for me to get pissed at, but this is one of those things.  Lets get 90% thru a deal and then back out!

Before you throw stones at others, why don't you try not to do the same thing to other people.  It's a two way street, that how we do things around here. One word RESPECT!

well, for starters, i'd NEVER deal with a user who does not have a profile. i'd also never deal with someone who types as badly as bowlingnut07. based on his grammar and constant use of internet slang and abbreviations, i'd say he's about 16.

no, i have NOT read the entire thread, there's entirely too many grammatical errors and lack of punctuation to understand half of whats going on.

That's true only if they don't have a rep on the site.

John doesn't have a profile but he has a good rep on this site.  I've met him and he is a good guy.  First timers, and guys with high user numbers need to have profiles.

I have had a couple deals with John as well. Never had any problems, straight up guy, I trust him. Sometimes you just have to give a guy a chance if there's no profile or he's new to the site, but even though John may not have a profile, he's a stand up guy, in my book.

I read the original F/S  F/T posting, if that's the right one, and didn't see where any mention of 'taking offers'. To each his own, but sounds like to me John has his right to feel messed over, just my 2 cants and I probably shouldn't had said anything, but it's raining here a slow this morning.

Prince,

I would have to go with bn07 on this one:

A persons writting style doesnot dictate how they will act.
While I am a bit older I use some of the internet slang, I am hip lol
I would rather sift through the garbage to get to the facts than to just start posting without reading most of it.

I don't know what kind of guy bowlingnut07 is, but i did have communications with axeweldr some time ago.  If i were you axeweldr i would as bowlingnut07 said "let it go".  You once gave me the impression you were buying a Lanemasters Guaranteed from me back in 2005 and i have never forgotten it.  All you did the whole time was make offers you never followed up on while attempting to low ball me.  I find it funny to see you here whining about how you got shafted while wasting your valuable time.  I guess what goes around comes around doesn't it.  I don't hold any grudges for that, just stating that the pot should not call the kettle black.

IMHO (another one for you prince ),

I would just let this one go.  It is not like what maizner had to go through,
eventhough things worked out in the end.
