Iffy transaction with Dyno-thane300...(AGAIN EDITED)
« on: November 23, 2008, 06:52:55 AM »
ON EDIT #2*****George sent me a ball of my choice and it was the ball I chose. Good deal here.****

ON EDIT******George and I have started to work things out and he is in the process of sending me another ball. I will update when I get the ball.******

About 3-4 months ago, George and I settled on a 2 for 2 trade. My Twisted Fury Pearl and Mass Chaos for his Black Widow Solid and Cell. Then he said that the Black Widow got cracked while he was at the beach, so I'm like okay, any other balls you have. So then, we settled for an AMF Code instead of the Black Widow.

So, he said he would ship the next morning and I said I would do the same but I would not be able to give him the tracking number until later in the day because I had school. He said alright. So, when I get home, he sent me a message saying he got liquidated and we cannot trade. But I already sent the balls. So he said, once the balls get to him, he will send me money to buy them. I'm like, okay.

So for about a two month stretch, he wouldn't answer any of my messages. So, bad communication on his part. And a couple of weeks ago, I FINALLY got a ball from him, it was my Mass Chaos, he sent it back to me. But it was boxed up horribly. Before that, he said he acquired another Cell, so he would ship it to me. I'm just like, Sweet, okay. Thanks. And about another month goes by, I got back my Mass Chaos, and when he finally sent me the second ball, it was not a Cell, it wasn't even a ball he asked if I wanted. So, I had NO idea what ball he was going to send me, until I got it. I guess he just chose one that he didn't want anymore, and gave it to me.

What I am mad about is:

His lack of communication. And when he did respond to my messages, he would say something stupid, like, o.k., me too. He would say those things when I ask him a question.

Not notifying me about what ball he is going to send. I don't like that he just picked a random ball and sent it to me.

While our deal was going on, when he said he got liquidated, he was trading balls that I was supposed to have. He traded another Cell and Code to somebody when he was supposed to send it to me.

He would make sure other people would get there equiptment before me, even though our deal was started months before theirs did.

He lied to me in some messages. Saying he shipped the ball, when he didn't. And other nonsense.

In the end, I did get 2 balls in return, they were just two I didn't want, and didn't know what they were going be.

I just wanted to let everybody know about this transaction. Thank you for reading.

Ricky

i know that when i traded with him,he was doing a LARGE number of them and had sent me a ball that i had not asked for but was compareable(awesome hook instead of a levrg).i was fine with that, as he was pm'ing me back very quickly and had expressed his sorrow for messing up the deal.
i'm surprised that this is going on so long..

Yeah

All I know, is that he is horrible at answering PM's when it comes to me sending them. I sent him one this morning telling him about the wrong ball, but he read it, and didn't answer back. And I just sent him one again a couple of hours ago, did not answer back again.

I did everything right on my part. There was a lot of things wrong on his side of the deal...

ON EDIT: Also, the ball he sent me was not comparable. He sent me a Dyno-thane Element NE10 instead of a Cell.

Thanks for the info Cuda, These are the type of individuals that we need to know about. There is no excuse for him not keeping you informed, and follow thru with what he promised. All of us on this site must ban togeether to isolate this type of individual and stop doing business with them.

That sucks! Everytime I see his name being mentioned in the buyer-seller feedback, it is always a great transaction. He should send you another bowling ball of your choice that he is willing to give you just for putting you threw this trouble.

That's true, he seems to be an unstable trader. That seems to be happening a lot lately on this site.

People say they have a ball to trade,(whether they really do), for a certain ball you want to trade that they want. So they go on about how they will trade with you and ship out the next day. The next day, after they receive your tracking number(sometimes before), they say that they don't want to trade or they can't. Now some people really can't, for example I was going to sell this guy a Wizard but I left in in my bowling bag and took it to league. I wasn't going to use it I just didn't want to take it out, aka-lazyness. I went to the bathroom, and came back out and noticed my bag was open. I look inside and notice that someone had taken my Wizard I was going to trade and my SuperBeast! I was pissed, but it turned out that no one from league had stolen it so that made me feel better, because I don't want to bowl with a thief. I still have no idea who took them? Probably some idiot just bowling there thought it would be funny to take them. Anyway, sorry about the long story but the whole "Flaking Out" on a deal thing, seems to be happening more and more often on here.

Yeah, I except the fact that I will never see them again. I also only buy or trade from a seller if he provide pics of the ball I'm buying or trading. Just to avoid a bad deal. Sorry man, maybe you can trade both those balls for a Black Widow and/or Cell?
