I am the winner of a RAFFLE held by IKE on March 3 2006. The raffle had 10 tickets for $15 each. The winner could choose any NIB ball excluding LANE1 and LEGENDS! Being the winner I advised IKE that my choice was a TRACK MACHINE on March 12. NOTE: Ike never was in contact with me to advise of my winning .. I initiated the contacts!

There has been an exchange of Email's with he and I .. him making numerous excuses and me making plenty of requests for delivery. His latest note claims that he is at college and his SUPPLIER was on VACATION. He stated that the ball would be in the mail on April 5. As of today I have not received the ball .. a TRACKING NUMBER or heard any more from him.

Ike had run a NUMBER OF RAFFLES earlier in the year and at that time I started a posting to verify that the balls were being delivered. Apparently he was honoring all the RAFFLES and winning BR members reported satisfaction.

EVIDENTLY IKE has changed his position. I think he has NO INTENTION to make good this delivery. In NOT DELIVERING he has done me WRONG in that I did not receive something I gambled on and WON .. and it works out that he cheated NINE other members who were in the raffle buying entries in GOOD FAITH!

I have written numerous Email's to IKE and his responses lead me to believe he is NOT TO BE TRUSTED .. Even if I eventually get the ball .. the aggravation is NOT WORTH IT.

I suggest IKE be considered A BAD CHOICE to do business with from this point forward!

I would appreciate it if BR members bombard IKETOWN300 with mail asking: WHY HASN'T JOE FALCO RECEIVED HIS WINNING BALL FROM THE MARCH 3 RAFFLE?

Wow Ike, You use to have a pretty good rep before starting these drawings last year. Since then you have had alot of problems with your guy and playing a waiting game. It has hurt your rep no doubt. However, what hurts your rep more (IMO) is the way you seem to look at it. Thinking hey...this guy only paid $15 bucks for a $130 buck ball. He should'nt have a problem with the wait. Well the way I see it, waiting over a month is ridiculous no matter what. You should have bought the ball from another supplier if your guy can't get it in a timely manner. Joe may only have $15 invested in the ball, but YOU STILL RECEIVED $150 FOR THE BALL!!!!! Don't try to belittle the situation and claim he got the ball for $15. This has caused me to lose respect for you as a seller. Thats not the way you should look at it and handle your business.

I'm not trying to belittle the situation at all. It is ridiculous you had to wait and that is why I said I was sorry a lot of times. I tried to do what I could to get in touch with him but he was on vacation and then had to take care of some business problems. I just said I would wait that long and I do now. I never said Joe should have had to wait that long. And actually I only do get about 15 or 20 bucks for the ball because DPat took the money for me cause he still uses paypal I let him keep some for himself for doing that, then I had to pay for the bowling ball for Joe.

Nothing against you Ike......but I think you are avoiding the full refund to all the people within this raffle question.  But this doesn't matter now since DPat and JF will be getting their stuff next week.

Thanks Ed .. there is something definitely in FED EX .. it would be foolish of IKE to send something other then the ball! I'm sorry IKE made us go through all these problems .. however I think if we DIDN'T PROCEED IN THIS MANNER we'd still be looking for a TRACKING NUMBER! I don't  think you did the right thing IKE and I have a feeling it was a BAD DECISION!

The customer is always right.  In this situation, there is no reason for the delay.  If your supplier could not get the ball, USE A DIFFERENT SUPPLIER.  Since this whole situation was all screwed up from the second that raffle ended, here is my suggestion.  

Since you were the seller, and you clearly had a horrible selling experience here, maybe you should refund the 15.00 to everyone in the raffle, and get the ball to the winner at YOUR COST....  You screwed up... whether it is 15.00 from one guy or 10 guys.... You didn't come through in a timely manner.  Bottom Line.

You should eat the cost of this sale, and made everyone happy that was involved and treated poorly!

15 minutes ago .. Fed ex dropped the package off at my door. I opened the delivery and found the bowling ball as promised by IKETOWN300. The ball was EXACTLY to my request and I am totally satisfied with the ball.

Deep down inside I feel sorry that this all happened .. however I feel the action was justified. It appears that Ike is a GOOD GUY but just doesn't put enough effort to SATISFY! Once he started on the way to DELIVER every thing worked well!

I want to THANK all those that supported me in getting this delivery made. I learned quite a bit from this. There were some BR members that I was disappointed in and still others that I am overjoyed with. For those that didn't feel like getting INVOLVED .. I UNDERSTAND. For those members that supported me .. I AM DEEPLY GRATEFUL! I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart! Thanks.

D PAT .. I have no doubt you will be getting your delivery as defined by Fed Ex. Please advise when it happens and then we can decide what to do about this whole posting! I need your input!

You said later in the posting .. I went from the end forward and the above is my statement. You say three weeks which I believe would be 21 days I said 42 days that would be about 6 weeks. Don't know if that changes your mind.

Yes suppliers don't carry every ball for every spec .. but I do believe they can acquire them before the elapsed period of this deal. I take no exception to you voicing your opinion .. I welcome it. I will agree with you THREE WEEKS IS AN ACCEPTABLE TIME PERIOD FOR DELIVERY. Before I made my comment .. I believe I waited longer then that. Thanks for your comment .. I don't mind if you believe I was wrong! I just hope you don't have to wait 42 days for a ball delivery in your orders.

Dan .. I don't know what your arrangements with IKE are .. have you been in touch with him? Was that a USED ball? I remember you changed your mind on one ball and wasn't sure it was to be shipped .. so that's not a problem .. just something you have to straighten out with him. There were 4 balls all total .. I don't know if they were USED or NEW .. What are your intentions? Where is this all going? I know it's between you and Ike .. but we have a lot of people involved now .. what are you planning?

Ike if you are available .. what are your thoughts are Dan's findings?
