The whole catalog is on there now. Cores are definitely all new in the high performance balls. Looks like the high end is going to stay with the low RG that has made Columbia what it was in recent years. Thank goodness. I will be ordering the Resurgance as soon as they make it available to PBA members.

I love the new simple core shapes.  The Rival core reminds me of an updated Power Torq core with a higher diff.

I did hear a rumor that the new Scouts were going to be completely 3 piece with no offset puck.  This ad confirms it.  Also the Jazz line looks a bit stronger than advertised.  The designs look more Tornado-like than Scout Hi-Flares.

They do look interesting.  Columbia had a strong following in our area for a few years, it'll be interesting to see if they can get it back under the new brand.

Yes looking at the specs the Jazz is being under advertised, with super flex and .040 diff at 15 lb's it is going to hook on almost all medium's.

I'm glad you guys got a preview of the new products.  The entire catalog going up was a little bit of a mistake over at the agency but it will be up there in due time.  The Wrath will be up in a couple days and the rest of the products up over the next couple weeks.

If you guys have questions, go ahead and fireaway.  I'll do my best to answer them in my free time.  The first release will be Aug 13th with the Resurgence, Rival and two of the Jazz line.

The Wrath will follow on September 10th.  It's an exciting time here in our new home for C300 and the products are amazing!

Chad please compare the resurgence to the new NVS, i know you have both of them so give us the scoop. I have heard how strong the NVS is but what is different from your new ball compared to Mr. Gallagher's new release???

Chad,

The Resurgence looks like a pearl/solid mix similar to what we on the Big Bully and Action. Is that correct?

Kind of an odd endorsement if you ask me.  I'm sure there's more to it.

On an unrelated note, why is it illegal to kill your mother-in-law?  Is it that way in all states or are there some where it's not illegal?  What sort of grey area is there if you let her commit suicide instead of trying to help her?

Pimp,

Thanks for the vote of confidence (I think).

Mr. Bowling Nut:

I haven't compared it to an NVS but I would assume the Resurgence is stronger in the middle of the lane where the NVS goes a little longer before reacting.  I would guess the Resurgence is stronger over all due to the finish and shell strength.

Tex,

Yes it is a mix of pearl and solid but the solid is the dominant property.  It rolls and finishes like a solid.  The pearl additive is simply for looks.

Shelley,

Not sure about that one - I should probably defer to someone else with more knowlege in that subject.

I guess that's it....

I know its not a big deal, but did anyone notice the Scout reactives?  The offset puck is gone now.   Kinda reminds me of the Shadow balls from way back when.

I might buy the green Scout, though, just because it looks like the Sling Blade.

:EDIT:  Sorry, DP3 already addressed the offset puck.  Maybe I shouldn't post when I'm half asleep

Chad,

Are the hook ratings the same for this line?

I noticed the Resurgence has a rating of 45 in oil and 28 on Dry. The EPX-T1's rating is 40 in Oil and 30 on Dry.

High Flush - https://www.buddiesproshop.com/files/5683.jpg

I threw the High Flush, Resurgence, and Rival tonight at the Demo Day at Texas Station.  The High Flush was long and strong for me.  The Rival was strong mid-lane arcing.  The Resurgence was also strong mid-lane arcing.  Sorry I can't give you more info on the balls.
